Importance of IF

Hi readers, Long time! Hope you are doing great. There was a sudden spark of thought that came to me and I thought I will write it down here, which may help one in million who is struggling with this IFs What is this IF? If I have scored a better mark in school, if I have got into good college If I have chosen the right course or the course I am interested If I have chosen the right job If I have chosen the right person If I have decided this later What not.. List goes on Get rid of importance of if for good Life is short. Enjoy the flow. Putting your effort is necessary but you cannot expect everything will workout the way you planned it. Recently I got a forwarded message video that was about a Day. Many people thought If my shoe was not broken while boarding bus If I haven't forgotten my important file to carry to office If my kid school bus didn't reach late If I didn't bump into an minor accident That was sep 11 twin tower blast The people I

A slapdash of a splashing story

Once upon a time, when there were no influence of mobile phones, kids used to fight for the corner seat of the train and enjoy the scenic beauty. Wave hands at stranger kids who stands beside the rail watching train passing. Amazed by the sun light passing through the window. It was those times I was travelling with my cousins and relatives in Mumbai local train. We were the most obedient kids (Sarcasm). Our parents had tremendous patience in handling us. We used to throw random trandrums, am sure my kid is much better than me-child version. And boomer was a huge hit of the period. After a good fight with cousins, I got the boomer bubble gum. Was shewing up. Playing with the cousin. We have this crazy wizard open up which kindled us to laugh at random people or things or content in a very haphazard fashion. There was an uncle sitting next to us with turban. That's the first time I have seen a man with such a big turban. That's enough for us to start off We started wit

Not my cup of tea

||• R E A D •|| . I want to confess one thing here. Till my master degree graduation my mom or the best friends of that period used to read the #books and I usually sit beside and listen to them. If I read alone, I cannot remember them for a long time , I either dream about the vacation or something else . But when I listen to someone it stays in my memory for ever. . Even during my hostel days, i used to sleep a lot and enjoy reading novels but not the textbooks. When any of my friends start to prepare for exam, i used to sit next to them and listen to their read-loud-out. ( best part is, scoring more than the helping friend ;) nothing intentional but i can write well when I understand ) . Reading is definitely a #cognitive process, a means of language acquisition, interpretation , communication, sharing ideas and info. . I won’t say i lack in that. I must say the interest towards something (books except textbooks) and my superb listening skills were dominant. .

An ice cream double date

||• ICE CREAM •|| . #Phuket , Thailand is where we went to Honeymoon. Yes an awesome trip 🌴 . We went out at night with another couple to have a double #date . We entered a mall #Jungceylon and it looked great with the lighting and DJs. Stunned by the #liveliness of the place . Most probably my first & recent ever outing at night. . The other couple ordered beer. Both of us dont consume any kind of alcohol , neither a smoking person. We thought we will give company to the other couple, so insisted hubby man to get my favourite ice cream from @baskinrobbins . Usually females are crazy about ice cream while am unusually not so crazy about female species , but i was left with no choice. . Language was a big barrier there. To explain them was a total dump charades fun. The lady (ice cream vendor saleswoman ) couldn’t understand what flavor i was asking for, also i was keep on adding the toppings list. My hubby couldn’t handle both the known and unknown ladies’ talkie

First flight humpty dumpty experience

||• TRAVEL •|| . My first flight travel was from Patna to Bangalore, 3 hours stop over at #Kolkata. My mom , sis and me went to attend my bestie’s wedding . North Indian weddings are usually at night unlike South Indian. I am so happy that I am South Indian in two aspects, (one night wedding and another is food )because My wedding was a late muhurtham around 10 AM. I had so much time to enjoy 😊   . Well that’s me, “If you give me a cup of curd rice, i will treat you like God”.  . Since first flight, so many gave instruction on what is the procedure to check in airport ,baggage luggage blablabla.  . It was a lil bad weather, so flight was humpy-jumping. My mom , sis and me cracked jokeless joke “ Road is not good, so many pits that’s why the hump;Probably pilot is driving for the first time ;Pilot didn’t check the air in the tire “. My lil sis was making fun out ,” The flight attendants are similar to samosa wala in train except that they can dress up well, speak Engl

My Birthing Experience

My due date was nearing and as every newie mom-to-be i phoned few of my friends who were already mothers, enquired regarding their first time normal delivery journey. Lots of mixed feelings inside.  On 22 November 2017, hubby man became restless with my nearing due date, so took work from home. It was my 39th week( one week due) . Just a week early,  I experienced a false pain while i went walking with hubby. Rushed to home and explained it to MIL. The pain stopped after the Kashyam that my MIL gave.  I wanted to apply mehandi, i did apply, clicked pic and posted in FB page too. Just when i was about to lye down for a super power nap at 3:30PM, mild cramps started. At 6:45 PM cramps increased inspite of kashyam i had.  By that time all home folks reached home listening to the hot news ( yes i live in sweet joint family 7 in number + one on boarded fellow who was inside me). In laws phoned my parents and my mom was on her way. I was afraid what if this was also

A bridegroom’s check out

what is special about this blog post is, it is about my pen kaanal - Bride-seeing function -The century old barbaric tradition, I would say ! Got ready in the early morning ( my mid night time) 6 AM all set. Well Washed ( yes an hour bath) loosened hair styled with a centre cute clutcher, diamond earrings , my mother’s necklace, a timex bracelet type watch, gold bangle. If not nose stud , diamond is mandatory in any Tamil Brahmin wedding. They used to prank us “ one diamond nose stud and silver pot vessel is enough for bride’s wedding”. My relatives came one by one . Yes I have big family tree. We are 18 in dad’s side and 30 in mom’s side. Thinking of the hall space and to avoid scaring the bride groom side, we restricted to 20 ( Obviously my dads side family) My cousins were already in the selfie mode. While i was sweating like going to take the 10th board exam. Of course they liked my photos , but still I wanted to give a good impression. “First impression is the best i
